Welcome to the home page for SMU’s university-wide initiative seeking reaffirmation of accreditation from the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

SMU's accreditation was reaffirmed on December 2, 2021 at the annual meeting of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. The next reaffirmation of accreditation is scheduled for 2027.

ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵis accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award baccalaureate, masters, and doctorates. ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵalso may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels.
