Ranking and Recognition

In the 2018-2019 season, ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵhad eight All-Americans, six American Athletic Conference Players of the Year, 74 All-Conference award winners and three Conference Coaches of the Year.

Postseason Play

In 2018-19, two ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵteams won conference championships and nine teams reached the postseason. Since 2013-14 has won 18 Conference Championships.

SMU’s a new Indoor Performance Center will open in September of 2019. Recent construction in support of athletics includes Gerald J. Ford Stadium, the Loyd All-Sports Center, the Crum Basketball Center, the ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵTennis Complex, the Miller Event Center, the Robson & Lindley Aquatics Center/Barr-McMillion Natatorium. 

Numerous facilities and spaces have been renovated as well, including Moody Coliseum, the football offices, football locker room, team meeting rooms and football player lounge. In total, since 2001, ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵhas invested almost $200 million in athletics facilities. Additionally, ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵpartnered with AT&T and the city of Dallas on the Trinity Forest Golf Club, an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Coore & Crenshaw, Inc., which features the world-class Payne Stewart ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵGolf Training Center.
